As the festive season approaches, the quest for unique and heartfelt gifts begins. There’s a special joy in presenting a homemade creation, something crafted with love and care. This year, we’re sharing a truly enchanting recipe that promises to be the star of your holiday gift-giving: a luscious Frosted Sugar Cookie Liquor. This delightful concoction, combining the rich notes of Frosted Sugar Cookie coffee creamer, premium white chocolate, and smooth white rum, is not just a beverage; it’s a warm, sweet embrace in a bottle, perfect for sharing with those you cherish.
The spirit of giving often leads us to thoughtful gestures. For many, the holidays are steeped in traditions, and homemade gifts hold an unparalleled charm. Last year, our neighbors received jars of our family-favorite pepper jelly, complete with crackers and cream cheese – a combination we savor on Christmas morning. Sharing such a personal tradition feels incredibly intimate, a true expression of care and connection. It’s about more than just an item; it’s about sharing a piece of your heart, a taste of your traditions, and a moment of your joy.

When embarking on the creation of homemade gifts, authenticity is paramount. It’s not merely about finding a random cookie recipe or a quick craft idea. The most memorable gifts are those imbued with meaning, resonating with a deeper connection to your soul. This is what transforms a simple present into a cherished memory. Each year, I make it a point to craft at least one homemade liquor to share with loved ones. There was the year of rich, homemade Kahlua, and the one before that, a fragrant fruit brandy. This holiday season, I decided to capture the quintessential holiday flavor of sugar cookies – undeniably the favorite cookie in our household – and distill it into this exquisite Frosted Sugar Cookie Liquor. The process is surprisingly straightforward, yielding a remarkably scrumptious result that will undoubtedly impress.
Crafting the Perfect Sugar Cookie Liquor
Imagine a beverage that embodies the comforting essence of a freshly baked, frosted sugar cookie, transformed into a smooth, creamy liqueur. That’s precisely what this recipe delivers. Its velvety texture and sweet, nostalgic flavor make it an absolute dream for cozy evenings. Picture this: a delicate drizzle over a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream after the children are tucked into bed, offering a moment of grown-up indulgence. Or consider infusing it into your holiday baking – a splash in a cake batter, a pie filling, or decadent brownies for an adult-only holiday party. The thought of this luxurious liquor cascading over a warm slice of apple pie is enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face!

The sheer mention of “sugar cookies” and “liquor” in the same breath often sparks delight and curiosity. It’s a testament to the irresistible allure of this flavor combination. Brands like International Delight, with their fantastic seasonal offerings like Sugar Cookie coffee creamer, make it incredibly easy to infuse such beloved tastes into unique creations. The blend of creamy white chocolate, the distinct sugar cookie flavor, and the gentle kick of white rum creates a harmonious symphony of taste that is both sophisticated and utterly delightful. I can already envision the joy on my friends’ faces as I present them with a beautifully bottled batch this holiday season. Ingredients
- 2 ounces good quality white chocolate (This is super important – don’t use anything that says “white chips.” The quality of the chocolate is key. Brands like Ghirardelli, Guittard, or Valrhona are perfect for use.)
- 5 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, divided
- 3/4 cup sugar cookie flavored coffee creamer (such as International Delight)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 oz white rum
Instructions
- Roughly chop your white chocolate and place it into a small saucepan.
- Add the granulated sugar and 1/4 cup of the heavy cream to the saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until both the chocolate and sugar are completely melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Once smooth, add the remaining heavy cream and the sugar cookie flavored coffee creamer to the saucepan. Continue to stir gently until everything is fully incorporated.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the white rum and vanilla extract.
- Allow the liquor mixture to cool completely to room temperature before carefully transferring it to an airtight bottle or jar.
- Store the Frosted Sugar Cookie Liquor in the refrigerator. It will keep well for several weeks, if not longer.
