In my quest for the perfect party snacks, I’ve experimented with a variety of recipes, but one ingredient consistently stands out for its versatility and sheer fun factor: JELL-O®.

Its vibrant colors, delightful wobbly texture, and incredible adaptability make it an ideal choice for crafting memorable holiday treats. That’s why I decided to get a little creative with JELL-O® JIGGLERS, transforming them into some truly fantastic Halloween party snacks that are as enjoyable to make as they are to eat.

Unleashing Creativity with JELL-O® JIGGLERS Pumpkins

Inspired by the endless possibilities, I decided to put my own twist on things and create these charming JELL-O® JIGGLERS Pumpkins. These aren’t just any treats; they’re tiny, edible works of art that capture the spirit of Halloween with every wiggle.

Crafting Your Own JELL-O® JIGGLERS Pumpkins

Making these delightful JIGGLERS Pumpkins is a straightforward process that’s perfect for involving little hands. Here’s how you can bring these wobbly wonders to life:

Ingredients & Equipment:

2 packages (3 oz each) JELL-O® Brand Gelatin, orange flavor (or any color you prefer for pumpkins)
1 ¾ cups boiling water (for JIGGLERS strength)

Black piping gel or edible food marker for drawing faces
8×8 or 9×13 inch baking pan
Pumpkin-shaped cookie cutters
Non-stick cooking spray

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Your Pan: Lightly spray your baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. This crucial step ensures your JIGGLERS will release easily once set.

Ingredients & Equipment:

1 package (3 oz) JELL-O® Brand Gelatin, Grape flavor
1 package (3 oz) JELL-O® Brand Gelatin, Lime flavor
Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
Gummy worms or other gummy candies
Clear individual serving jars or small glasses
Warm water (as per JELL-O® package directions for regular JELL-O®)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare JELL-O®: Prepare each flavor of JELL-O® separately according to the package directions for regular JELL-O® (this uses more water than JIGGLERS, resulting in a softer set). Allow them to cool slightly.
Layer in Jars: Pour the first color of JELL-O® (e.g., grape) into the bottom of your clear jars, filling about one-third of the way. Place the jars in the refrigerator and chill until partially set but not completely firm (about 20-30 minutes).
Add the Next Layer: Once the first layer is slightly firm, gently pour the second color of JELL-O® (e.g., lime) on top, filling another third of the jar. Chill again until partially set.
Whipped Cream & Worms: Once the JELL-O® layers are firm, top them with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Then, strategically place gummy worms so they appear to be “crawling” out of the JELL-O® or buried within the cream. This adds a fantastic “graveyard” element!
