Eggnog Fudge: An irresistibly easy and creamy fudge recipe that captures the essence of the holiday season with its delicate eggnog flavor. It’s the perfect sweet indulgence to enjoy while unwinding with a chilled glass of Riondo Prosecco.
The Thanksgiving feast has come and gone, and suddenly, we find ourselves fully immersed in the whirlwind of the holiday season. While this time of year brings immense joy and cherished family moments, it can also usher in a significant amount of stress. From tackling endless holiday shopping lists to meticulously planning festive gatherings and preparing elaborate meals, the demands can quickly pile up. It’s incredibly easy to get caught up in the frenzy and feel overwhelmed if you don’t intentionally carve out moments for self-care and relaxation. After a particularly long day navigating bustling stores and searching for the perfect gifts, there’s nothing quite like returning home to the comforting glow of a warm, cozy fire. It’s in these quiet moments that finding ways to de-stress becomes paramount, transforming holiday pressure into peaceful enjoyment.
Delicious Eggnog Fudge: Your Holiday Stress Buster

In our family, it’s a cherished tradition to have homemade fudge readily available throughout November and December. My mother was legendary for her exquisite fudge, and it was, without a doubt, the most requested treat during the holiday season. For as long as I can recall, we would spend countless hours crafting multiple batches of various fudge flavors every day. These delightful confections were not just for our own enjoyment but primarily for gifting to a wide circle of friends and extended family, spreading holiday cheer one delicious square at a time. Naturally, this meant we always had an abundant supply of leftover fudge in the house, a sweet perk of our family’s festive dedication.

For me, there’s no better way to unwind after a demanding day of holiday preparations than by selecting a piece or two of this luscious homemade fudge. Sinking into a comfortable chair, perhaps by the fire, with a sparkling glass of Riondo Prosecco, creates an instant haven of tranquility. It’s a simple yet profound ritual that melts away stress and allows me to savor the true spirit of the season. Over the years, I’ve taken my mother’s beloved recipe and lovingly adapted it, pushing beyond the conventional chocolate to explore new, exciting flavor profiles. This particular eggnog version stands out as one of the easiest homemade fudge recipes you’ll ever make, yet it brilliantly encapsulates that quintessential, warm, and inviting holiday flavor that everyone adores. Its creamy texture and delicate spice notes make it an instant festive favorite, promising to become a cherished part of your own holiday traditions.

My absolute perfect pairing for this festive treat is a crisp, refreshing glass of Riondo Prosecco. The rich, sweet notes of the eggnog fudge find a magnificent counterpoint in the effervescence and subtle fruitiness of this exceptional Italian sparkling wine.

Riondo Prosecco is a testament to authentic Italian craftsmanship, a truly captivating sparkling wine imported directly from its homeland. It offers a delightfully light and crisp profile, with elegant bubbles that dance on the palate, making it an ideal choice for both lively celebrations with friends and peaceful evenings of relaxation at home. Its reputation precedes it, having been honored as the #1 prosecco in Italy in 2010 – a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about its quality and widespread appeal. This accolade highlights its consistent excellence and explains why it’s such a beloved choice for connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike. Its refreshing taste cleanses the palate beautifully after a bite of rich fudge, creating a harmonious balance that enhances both experiences.

Beyond its role as a personal indulgence, Riondo Prosecco also makes an incredibly thoughtful and sophisticated gift for your holiday party host. It’s an effortless choice that is always warmly received, conveying appreciation and a touch of festive elegance without requiring extensive effort on your part. A bottle of fine Italian Prosecco is a universally appreciated gesture, sure to elevate any holiday gathering.

Indeed, Riondo Prosecco is the quintessential companion to this delightful eggnog fudge throughout the festive holiday season. The effervescent bubbles and crisp, dry finish of the Prosecco cut through the sweetness and richness of the fudge, creating a truly balanced and luxurious tasting experience. It’s a pairing designed to elevate your moments of celebration and relaxation. However, the versatility of Riondo Prosecco extends far beyond the holidays. Once the festive lights are packed away, it continues to be an excellent choice for crafting refreshing cocktails. It pairs wonderfully with complementary juices, various spirits, and a myriad of garnishes, allowing you to create personalized bubbly drinks for any occasion or simply enjoy it on its own as a delightful sparkling aperitif. Its adaptability ensures it remains a staple in your entertaining repertoire all year round.

Instructions
- Line a 9×9 inch pan with parchment paper, then lightly spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Place white chocolate chips and rum extract into a mixer bowl. Set aside.
- In a 3-quart heavy saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, eggnog, and marshmallow cream. Heat over medium heat.

- Sprinkle a light dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon over the top of the fudge for an extra festive touch.
- Refrigerate the fudge for a minimum of 6 hours to allow it to set completely before cutting into squares and serving.
